8C English week 12 - important to read

Hi,
this week you will finish the assignment with Fakebook. Thursday is the last day when you can hand in your three chapters which are a minimum of texts. If you have only written one or two chapters you haven't accomlished the assignment which means that you cannot get more than an E as a grade/mark. The same applies for if you hand them in after the set date on Thursday the 24th of March.

On Thursday I want the edited chapters and your pictures of your amazing life in a book called Book Creator. I know that you have to hand in your Ipads on Wednesday but I will talk to your teachers that I want you to use them on Thursday.

As you know I have been a bit disapointed and upset that quite a few of you didn't finished this assignment on time, before your PRAO. We started this projekt week 5 and you were only supposed to write three texts. We will talk about this more when I see you again on Thursday.

Hello 8b,

I hope you all have a really nice time during your internship and that you learn a lot!

Next week when you are back in school you will get feedback  on Fakebook from me. On Tuesday and Thursday you will have time to re-write your texts to improve them using my comments.

Also you will have to put your texts (and hopefully photos) into BookCreator and prepare the presentation of your Fakebook that you will do in small groups when we get back from the Easter Holiday. that is w.14.

During week 14 you will also do a discussion in groups about the book that we have read in English. You will get the questions from me the same week!

Erbjudande om en riktigt bra kurs för alla tonårsföräldrar

Hej! 

 

Älskade förbannade tonåring är en kostnadsfri kurs på fyra träffar för dig förälder med barn i åldern 12-17 år, bosatt i Hässelby-Vällingby. Kursen syftar till att stärka relationen mellan tonåring och föräldrar.

Att ha förmånen att vara förälder är en av livets största gåvor. Samtidigt är tonårsperioden den svåraste utmaningen för många föräldrar. Kursen " Älskade förbannade tonåring ..." bygger på boken med samma namn och har kommit till för att hjälpa tonårsföräldrar att hitta sätt att klara av svårigheterna, att bygga en positiv relation med sin tonåring och att hitta ett bra sätt att lotsa sitt barn in i vuxenlivet.

Under träffarna går man igenom en rad vardagssituationer som de flesta tonårsföräldrar kan känna igen som till exempel när tonåringen inte längre talar med dig, inte hjälper till hemma, bråkar med syskon och mest vill vara med sina vänner.

Kursen består av fyra gruppträffar plus en återträff.
Nästa kurs startar tisdag den 5/4 kl.17.30, därefter den 12/4, 19/4, 26/4. Varje träff är 2,5 timme lång. Kursen startar om det är tillräckligt många anmälda. Vi kommer att hålla till i Familjestödsenhetens lokal på adress Hässelby torg 5.

Info om PRAO och PRAO-redovisning

Hej!

Vecka 11 pågår Prao. Under veckan jobbar alla med att göra ett reportage om sin Praoplats, och om sin upplevelse av Praon. Detta redovisas på måndag för resten av klassen.

På onsdag 23/3 17.30-18.30 bjuds alla föräldrar samt representanter från Prao-platserna till skolans aula för en Prao-mässa, där eleverna presenterar sina erfarenheter i utställningsform. Det kommer att bjudas på lättare tilltugg.

Vi arbetar med tema mat/restaurangbesök och kommer efter praon att avsluta detta arbetsområde. Efter praon bör du vara färdig med uppgifterna i ditt häfte.

Read "Holes" page 167-203 and answer the questions for part 6. Due Tuesday week 12.

Continue writing chapter 3 and 4 of "Fakebook"

Week 12:

Read the last part of "Holes" and answer the questions for part 7.

Hand in chapter 3 and 4 of "Fakebook" on Tuesday 22/3.

English 8C week 10 and week 12

Week 10, on Friday the 11th of March, is the last day you can send your drafts of Fakebook Chapter 1-4 to Showbie. If you only have written two or three chapters then that is what you are going to hand in. I am going to give you feedback of what you can improve on week 11, and you will have the chance to edit your texts on Tuesday and Thursday week 12
